LIC New Term Assurance Rider (UIN 512B210V01)

LIC New Term Assurance Rider (UIN: 512B210V01) is available as an optional rider at the inception of the policy by payment of additional premium. The Premium for this rider must be paid along with the premium of the Base plan and any other rider’s opted simultaneously.

The Sum Assured under the LIC New Term Assurance Rider will be equal to the Sum assured under the Base Plan with a maximum limit of 25 lakhs taking into consideration the Term Assurance Rider Sum assured under all existing policies of the Life Assured. The total Sum assured under the rider of all the policies including the new proposal should not be more than 25 lakhs.

The LIC’s New Term Assurance Rider provides for life cover in case of unfortunate death of the insured during the cover period. It can be attached to a basic policy to provide add-on benefits at a nominal cost. This rider shall only be attached with Non-Linked plans at the inception of the base policy.

Death Benefits under LIC New Term Assurance Rider:

In case of unfortunate death of the life assured during the term of the Rider, an amount equal to the Term Assurance Rider Sum Assured shall be payable.

Maturity Benefit:

• No maturity benefits are payable on survival to the end of the term of the Rider.

• The rider will not acquire any paid up value.

The benefits cover of the LIC New Term Assurance Rider will be available for a maximum term of 35 years or till the age of 75 years, whichever is earlier.
